Chinese Food
Chinese food is home cooking to at least a quarter of the world's population, central to the majority of people's way of life. "Have you eaten?" and "Have you taken rice?" are common greetings throughout China. In such a vast country, there is a wealth of different styles of cooking, and many cooks and restaurants in the West are now distinguishing between Cantonese, Sichuan and Peking-style cooking, introducing us all to some of the world's finest food.
