Deep Fried Bean Curd Sandwhich

Ingredients
  • 1 Bean curd (2" x 4")
  • 1½ tbsp Ground pork
  • 6 pcs Dried bean Curd sheets
  • Brown peppercorn salt

Ingredients A:

  • 1 tbsp Green onion, chopped
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
Preparation
  1. Slices bean curd into 2 cm thick slices, then cut into rectangle 1" x 2". Splash a little salt and cornstarch.
  2. Stir fry ground pork with ½ tbsp oil, add “Ingredients A” and mix well. Place 1 tsp pork mixture in between 2 bean curd slices to make a sandwich.
  3. Cut each dried bean curd sheet into 2 pieces. Fold in one bean curd sandwich with one sheet to make a package and seal edge with flour paste.
  4. Deep fry in hot oil till golden brown. Serve with brown pepper corn salt.

Notes:

  1. Canned ground pork is more convinient, no need to cook, only mixed with salt and green onion.
  2. Black mushroom, dried shrimp or ham can be added to pork mixture.
