Sweet & Sour Pork Lit-Chee Shape
- 1½ lb Pork tenderloin
- 2 Green peppers
- 5 Water chestnuts
- 1 Green onion
- 3 Garlic
- ¼ tsp Red food color
- 1 tbsp Soysauce
Ingredients A:
- 2 tsp Wine
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Salt
- Cut pork into thick slices (1" square). Score each slice crisscross on surface. Marinate with “Ingredients A” for 10 minutes.
- Slice water chestnuts and green peppers. Chop garlic and cut green onion in to ½" sections.
- Mix sweet & sour sauce in a bowl. 1 tbsp soysauce, 2 tbsp vinegar, 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp water, ¼ tsp salt, ¼ tsp sesame oil, 2 tsp cornstarch.
- Roll pork slices into cylinder, then deep fry in hot oil till well done.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil to saute garlic and green onion, then add water chestnuts and green peppers, finally pour the sweet & sour sauce, bring to a boil, mix with pork. Serve.
