Poached Shrimp Balls

Ingredients
  • 15 Shrimps (or prawn)
  • 1 cup Green onion, shredded
  • ½ cup Ginger, shredded
  • 1 Green onion
  • 2 Ginger
  • ½ tbsp Wine
  • 1 tbsp Shrimp paste
  • 1 tbsp Oyster sauce

Ingredients A:

  • ⅓ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Wine
Preparation
  1. Shell & devein shrimps, rub with a little salt, rinse and pat dry. Score on back of shrimp, marinate with “Ingredients A” for 10 minutes.
  2. Add green onion, ginger, wine and 2 tbsp oil in 5 cup boiling water, bring to a boil, put shrimp in soup, cook over high heat for one minute, remove.
  3. Place shredded green onion and ginger on plate, then place shrimp balls on it, Serve with stir-fried shimp paste and oyster sauce.

Notes:

  • Stir fry shrimp paste with 1 tbsp hot oil, add 1 tbsp water, bring to a boil. remove to a small platter. 
  • Shrimp can be stir fried with hot oil after being poached.
