Braised Fish with Green Onion

Ingredients
  • 12 pcs Small fish
  • ½ cup Soysauce
  • 2 tbsp Wine
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • 10 Green onion
  • ¼ tbsp Ginger, shredded
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • ½ tsp Dark soysauce color
  • 1½ cup Boiling water
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
Preparation
  1. Choose small fish about 4" Long, clean. Marinate with soysauce, wine for ½ hour.
  2. Heat 1 cup oil in wok deep fry until both sides golden brown. Remove.
  3. Heat 3 tbsp oil in pan. Fry green onion (cut into 5" long) until good smll comes out. Place fish on top of green onion. Pour the soaking fish sauce in pan, add sugar, dark soysauce color, vinegar and boiling water. Cover and simmer for about 1 hour until the liquid is absorbed.
  4. Sprinkle with 1 tbsp sesame oil and serve.

This dish is delicious when cold.
