Fried Pearl Prawn
- 4 Prawn (or Large shrimp)
- 3 pcs Lettuce
- ¼ tsp Pepper
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 2 Egg
- 4 slices Toast
- 2 tbsp Ketchup
Ingredients A:
- ¼ tsp Salt
- ½ Egg white
- 1 tsp Cornstarch
- Cut off prawn's head, shell the body but leave tail. Score on back of prawn to make a flat large piece. marinate with “Ingredients A" for 10 minutes.
- Cut off hard edges from toast and cut into very small cubes. (about 0.5 cm)
- Dredge each prawn with flour, then dip in beaten egg, coat with toast cubes. Deep-fry in hot oil till crispy and golden.
- Lay some letture on bottom, place prawns on top. Serve with tomato ketchup.
