Fried Pearl Prawn

Ingredients
  • 4 Prawn (or Large shrimp)
  • 3 pcs Lettuce
  • ¼ tsp Pepper
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 2 Egg
  • 4 slices Toast 
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup

Ingredients A:

  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ½ Egg white
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
Preparation
  1. Cut off prawn's head, shell the body but leave tail. Score on back of prawn to make a flat large piece. marinate with “Ingredients A" for 10 minutes.
  2. Cut off hard edges from toast and cut into very small cubes. (about 0.5 cm)
  3. Dredge each prawn with flour, then dip in beaten egg, coat with toast cubes. Deep-fry in hot oil till crispy and golden.
  4. Lay some letture on bottom, place prawns on top. Serve with tomato ketchup.
