Braised Pork Spareribs Wu-Shih Style
- 1½ lb. Pork sparerib
- 1½ tbsp Salt
- 5 Green onion
- 2 tbsp Wine
- 3 Green onion knots
- 2 Ginger slices
- 1 Star anise
- 1 Cinnamon bark slice
- 4 tbsp Soysauce
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- Cut sparerib into sentions 2" long, marinate with salt and ¼ tsp saltpeter powder, let stard for 12 hours.
- Cook sparerib in boiling water for 1 minute, remove and drain.
- Place 5 green onion on bottom of pan, add spareribs, wine, onion, star anise and ginger green, cinnamon bark, 2 cup water, cook over high heat, when boiling, add soysauce, sugar, cook over low heat for 1½ hour till sparerib is tender. Serve.
