Steamed Stuffed Sea Cucumber

Ingredients
  • 3 Sea cucumbers
  • 4 oz Shrimp meat
  • 8 oz Ground pork
  • 6 Water chestnuts
  • ½ cup Soup stock
  • Green vegetables

Ingredients A:

  • 1 Green onion
  • 2 Ginger slices
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
Preparation
  1. Devein sea cucumbers (soaked) cook in 3 cup water with 2 green onion, 2 slices ginger, 1 tbsp wine for 10 minutes.
  2. Mix ground pork with smashed shimp and chopped water chestnuts, add “Ingredients A” and stir with several chopsticks till very stiff. Splash a litte cornstarch in sea cucumber's belly, stuff with pork mixture, steam for 20 minutes. Cut into sections and arrange on plate.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp oil in wok, add soup stock, 1 tbsp soysauce, bring to a boil, thicken with cornstarch paste, pour over sea cucumber. Put sauteed vegetable around it. Serve.
