Stewed Pork Hoof with Sea Cucumber

Ingredients
  • 1 Pork hoof
  • 12 oz Sea cucumber
  • 10 Green onion
  • 3 Ginger slices
  • 1 Star anise
  • ½ cup Soysauce
  • 1 tbsp Rock sugar
  • 3 tbsp Wine
  • ½ tbsp Brown pepper corn
Preparation
  1. Cook sea cucumber with 1 green onion, 2 ginger slices in 5 cup water for 10 minutes, remove, rinse in cold water, cut into large slices.
  2. Clean pork hoof, cut into small pieces (1½" square), cook with 4 green onion, 1 ginger slice, rock sugar, star anise, wine, soysauce in 3 cup water, cover and cook over high heat, when boiling, turn to low heat and cook for 1 hour, till stock is reduced to ½ cup.
  3. Heat 3 tbsp oil to stir fry broun Pepper corn, when color turns dark, add 5 green onion, fry till good odor comes out, add pork hoof with stock, sea cucumber, cook for 3 minutes, thicken with cornstarch paste, sprinkle sesame oil. Serve.
