Sauteed Squid Slices

Ingredients
  • 1 Squid (1 lb)
  • ½ cup Soup stock
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp Chopped green onion
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil

Ingredients A:

  • ⅓ tsp Salt
  • ½ tbsp Wine
  • ½ tbsp Cornstarch

Ingredients B:

  • 1 tbsp Chopped ginger
  • 2 tbsp Chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp Hot red bear paste
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Fermented rice
Preparation
  1. Clean squid, score several cuts lengthwise on surface, lay knife flat, cut into large thin slices. Rinse and pat dry, marinate with “Ingredients A”.
  2. Deep fry squid in hot oil (or cook in boiling water) for a few seconds, remove and drain.
  3. Heat 3 tbsp oil to stir fry “Ingredients B” till good odor comes out, add soup stock, salt, sugar, bring to a boil, mix with sguid, sprinkle sesame oil, 1 tbsp chopped green onion. Serve.
