Thai Beef Salad
- 10 oz. New York strip steak
- 1 small red onion
- 2 green onions
- 3 oz. Chinese parsley
- 3 oz. fresh mint leaves
- 1½ tbsp. rice powder
- 4½ tsp. lime juice
- 1 tsp. ground red chili
- 1½ tbsp. fish sauce
- 1/2 tbsp. Golden Mountain Sauce
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. msg (optional)
- 3 tbsp. hot water
Clean Chinese parsley and mint leaves; cut 1/2" long.
Thinly slice red onion and chop green onion.
Grill steak until medium rare. Slice into thin pieces. Place all other ingredients in bowl and stir together. Add beef and stir for 1 minute.
Cover serving dish with lettuce leaves. Place beef on top. Arrange fresh cucumber, lettuce and green beans or Chinese Cabbage if available, around beef. Serves 2.
