Steamed Stuffed Sea Cucumber
- 3 Sea cucumbers
- 4 oz Shrimp meat
- 8 oz Ground pork
- 6 Water chestnuts
- ½ cup Soup stock
- Green vegetables
Ingredients A:
- 1 Green onion
- 2 Ginger slices
- ½ tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 tsp Cornstarch
- Devein sea cucumbers (soaked) cook in 3 cup water with 2 green onion, 2 slices ginger, 1 tbsp wine for 10 minutes.
- Mix ground pork with smashed shimp and chopped water chestnuts, add “Ingredients A” and stir with several chopsticks till very stiff. Splash a litte cornstarch in sea cucumber's belly, stuff with pork mixture, steam for 20 minutes. Cut into sections and arrange on plate.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in wok, add soup stock, 1 tbsp soysauce, bring to a boil, thicken with cornstarch paste, pour over sea cucumber. Put sauteed vegetable around it. Serve.
