Pan Fried Garlic Beef
- 12 oz. new york steak
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon white ground pepper
- 1ΒΌ tablespoon fish sauce
- 1/2 tablespoon dry sherry
- cooking wine
- 1 cup cooking oil
Dip Sauce:
- 1/2 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup fish sauce
- 1/4 cup fresh chopped chilli peppers
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh garlic
- 1 tablespoon sugar
Place chopped garlic, sugar, pepper, fish sauce, and sherry in a large bowl. Stir together. Place steak in the same bowl marinate in the sauce for 20 minutes. Place oil in a pan and heat over high heat, carefully put steak in pan. Fry the steak until medium brown. Slice about 1" thick and place on serving plate, garnish with fresh lettuce tomato and cucumber, serve with dipping sauce.

Dip Sauce:
Mix all sauce ingredients together in a sauce bowl.
