Orange Flavor Beef in Bird's Nest
- 1 lb. Beef
- 3 oz Green bean threads
Ingredients A:
- ½ tbsp Brown pepper corn
- ½ cup Dried red pepper
- 2 tbsp Dried targerine peel
Ingredients B:
- 1 tbsp Soysauce
- 1 tbsp Wine
- 1 tbsp Fermented rice
Ingredients C:
- 1 tsp Vinegar
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- Cut beef into thin slices (1½" x 1"), marinate with ½ tsp Salt for ½ hour. Deep fry in hot oil over high heat till it becomes crispy and the color turns darker.
- Heat 3 tbsp oil to stir fry “Ingredients A”, when odor comes out, add “Ingredients B” and ½ cup water, pour beef in, cook over high heat, add ½ tsp sugar and ½ tsp salt, continue to cook till the broth reduced.
- Sprinkle “Ingredients C”, mix well, remove to bird's nest, Serve.
Bird's nest: Spread and press green bean threads between two strainer bowl, deep fry in hot oil, then remove to a plate, this is bird's nest.
This dish will not be so hot spicy if it is served cold.
