Liver with Pineapple
- 1 lb. beef or pork liver
- 1 large onion
- 1 tbsp. minced fresh garlic
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1½ tbsp. fish sauce
- 1½ tsp. Golden Mountain Sauce
- 1½ tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. cooking wine
- 3/4 cup pineapple chunk
- 3 tbsp. cooking oil
- 5 tbsp. water
- 6 cherry tomatoes
Cut liver into slices 1/2" thick. Cut onion into slices 1" wide.
Place oil in wok and heat over high heat. Stir fry garlic until light brown. Add pineapple chunks and onion. Stir 20 seconds. Move to side of wok.
Add liver, sugar, fish sauce, Golden Mountain Sauce and black pepper. Stir with pineapple and onion for 1 minute. Add wine and water. Stir until boiling. Turn off heat and remove to serving plate.
Serves 4 to 5.
