Beef Steak with Celery
- 8 oz Beef fillet
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 2 Celery
- 1 Green pepper
- 2 Red hot pepper
- 2 Green onion
- 10 Ginger slices
- 1 tbsp Hot red bean paste
Ingredients A:
- 1 Egg white
- ¼ tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Wine
- pepper
- 2 tbsp Cornstarch
- Cut beef into ½" thick slices, score crisscross on surface. Marinate with “Ingredients A” for 1 hour.
- Remove grain from celery, cut into 1" long sections. slice finely on ¾ part of celery (make it looks like peacock's tail). Cut green pepper, red pepper into diamond shape.
- Put beef slices in oil (230°F hot), fry for a few seconds, remove and reheat oil to hot, pour beef in, deep fry over high heat, when done, remove and drain.
- Heat 3 tbsp oil to stir fry green onion sfctions, ginger, hot red bean paste, add celery, green pepper, red pepper, add 1½ tbsp soysauce, 1½ tbsp wine, 1 tbsp vinegar 1 tbsp cornstarch, ½ tsp sugar, bring to a boil, mix with beef, serve.
