Steamed Seafood
- 1/2 lb. large shrimp in shell
- 4 crab
- 1 lb. mussels
Sauce:
- 2 tbsp. minced garlic
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1¼ tbsp. fish sauce
- 4 tbsp. hot water
- 1 tbsp. ground hot pepper
- 1½ tbsp. lemon or lime juice.
Rinse and clean off shrimp, crab and mussels but do not remove from shell.
Fill bottom of steamer half full with boiling water. Place over high heat. Place crab and shrimp on bottom of steamer tray and lay mussels on top. Put in steamer. Steam until done but do not over cook, about 15 minutes. Serves 3-4.
Sauce:
Mix the following ingredients together in a sauce bowl and serve with steamed seafood.
