Sauteed Squid Slices
- 1 Squid (1 lb)
- ½ cup Soup stock
- ½ tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 tbsp Chopped green onion
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
Ingredients A:
- ⅓ tsp Salt
- ½ tbsp Wine
- ½ tbsp Cornstarch
Ingredients B:
- 1 tbsp Chopped ginger
- 2 tbsp Chopped garlic
- 1 tbsp Hot red bear paste
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp Fermented rice
- Clean squid, score several cuts lengthwise on surface, lay knife flat, cut into large thin slices. Rinse and pat dry, marinate with “Ingredients A”.
- Deep fry squid in hot oil (or cook in boiling water) for a few seconds, remove and drain.
- Heat 3 tbsp oil to stir fry “Ingredients B” till good odor comes out, add soup stock, salt, sugar, bring to a boil, mix with sguid, sprinkle sesame oil, 1 tbsp chopped green onion. Serve.
